sheila fowler.
Scottish born, Sheila Fowler studied at Glasgow School of Art between 2003 and 2006 and has been painting full time from her studio in Giffnock, East Renfrewshire ever since.
Her vibrant and colourful contemporary paintings are inspired by frequent visits to the West Coast, Highlands and Islands where she gathers her source material. Back in her studio, Sheila's paintings capture these quaint rural cottages, glimmering beaches and striking Scottish landscapes which she is so well known and loved for.
Sheila's work is hanging in the Scottish Parlament as well as in private collections throughout the UK and Europe and her work was featured on the BBC One Show Summer Exhibition. Sheila's work was also shortlisted for the Ken Bromley Cover Competition in both 2017 and 2018.
