After finishing his degree in Salisbury, English sculptor Matt Duke joined a bronze foundry in Hampshire and has now been working in the industry for close to 20 years.

Duke is a dedicated artist with a spontaneous approach to his work, complemented by a reputation for technical excellence in the art of bronze patination. He is enthused by his own childhood memories and his family, who provoked an interest in the beauty of creation and purity. His curiosity in biology has inspired him to further his work with a focus on nature and movement.
